Make Your Tennis Matter!

Tennis Troupe kicked off the 2023 mental health awareness fundraiser on October 27th with the support of the 2SLGBTQ+ Vancouver Tennis Association, Tennis BC, Rackets & Runners and National Bank; it was the largest tournament with over 80 competitors.

But now the real work begins as we ask tennis players and their friends, family and colleagues to join this campaign, which runs through to December 31, 2023. Last year Tennis Troupe raised $11,290 for CMHA's Blue Wave Program, and this year we are hoping to raise over $25,000+ for CMHA BC’s Suicide Prevention and Life Promotion Program.

Tennis allows us to connect with others in our community, but those connections don't have to end once we step off the court! Making connections in all aspects of our lives matters—sometimes in ways we just don't realize. It can be a small act of kindness that makes the biggest difference in someone's day, week, year, or life. Your donation to the CMHA BC Suicide Prevention & Life Promotion initiatives could make a difference for someone you know, someone in your community, or someone who just needs a little help.

Nearly everyone struggles with something at some point in their lives—and if you are lucky enough to have someone to help you out, you know how important that support is. But what if you feel like you are alone? What if you don't have that person to talk to? Your donation can help those who need a connection and someone to talk to.

CMHA BC delivers suicide prevention workshops and training to the community and promote life-saving skills for all. Suicide can be prevented. Anyone can help make a difference. With your donation, we will be able to expand services and provide a greater number of workshops for British Columbians.

Any donation is welcome; as little as $5 goes a long way to help. CMHA will email a charitable tax receipt for all $20+ donations. Every little bit helps.

Once you've registered on tc.tournamentsoftware.com submit your $50+ donation below to complete entry into the tourney.
